Working on bits and pieces

Yesturday, after running out to get some Kona solid black fabric, for the pumpkin table runner and finishing that off, I still had some time and energy to work on some other stuff.  I have a few things going on at the same time right now....well maybe more than a few....but consistently working on only five primary quilty things.

After the runner, I started working on this nine patch sock monkey fabric quilt.  I finished one complete row and have all the nine patches done for all the rest of the rows.  It amazes me how much smaller the first row is after it's been assembled.  I'm going to have to do something to make it bigger...

While I was assembling the row from above, I was using the pieces from the heart quilt, pictured in the photo below, as my leader/ender.  Managed to get a full heart done.  For this quilt, I now have three blocks done and six more to go.

Today I am going to do more of these two quilts and hopefully get them both to top status.  It will either be these or quilting various tops that I have ready.  We'll see.... I'm kind of leaning toward these two...

Take care everyone.
