This will actually be the first Halloween table runner that I've ever had! I don't know why. I decorate for Christmas, but none of the other seasons or occasions. Well, I do a bit of Halloween decor outside. Now I have this table runner for my table.
This was a panel that was in a drawer for a long time and got pulled out recently and added to my list. I can now cross something else off the list. It was made and quilted over a week ago, however I didn't have any black around here to bind it. So, after work today, my mom and I headed to Len's Mills to get some solid black Kona fabric and I picked up some special batting that has the tinfoil in it for hot pots and heat resistant stuff. Now I can also work on that project too.
I have to smile when I look at these pumpkins. Their cheerful. Below I took a close up of the quilting. I used the Along Came a Spider pantograph for this one. I like how spider stands out in some spots and the webs stand out in other spots. In this picture you can also see the backing fabric, which is a print of spiders and webs....lol...not a coincident that I quilted this pattern on it.
I'm glad I got to this. It's just in time for Halloween. It's already on the table. Slightly early, but oh well.
Take care everyone.
