Stacking bricks top

I last posted about this quilt on Aug 15th, when I started it.  After I quilted a quilt for Quilt of Valour, I just knew I needed to make one.  It is such a great way to use up scraps of odds and sods.  Everything from darks, mediums all the way thorough to lights, and it was such an easy quilt to make.  I can see making this one again! 

I finished this top about a month ago, not long after starting it, and just realized now that I hadn't posted about it.  I showed this quilt top to the the ladies in our little sewing group and one of them said it needed a border.....so....it got put aside for a bit....

This is one of the reasons I have many projects going at the same time.  Things stall out at different stages of construction for various reasons....  I didn't know if I had anything that could be used for the border, and by this time, I thought I was already done with the top, so it took me some time to get back into the mood of working on this one again.  Border is now on the quilt and it is waiting to be quilted.
