Two more examples of the Heartfelt quilt

I had the pleasure of quilting two more examples of the Heartfelt quilt.  This pattern proves to be very flexible.  I've seen many different versions.  Some people have changed up the words that go around the outer edges, or didn't use any at all, some changed the blocks and others didn't.  They all look completely different from one another.  Everyone has their own colour combinations.  It's absolutely fabulous seeing all the variety.

This quilt was a true scrap quilt, with the maker using up her stash.  I love it!  You wouldn't know it, because even with all the variety of scraps, it still coordinates and messes to make this cohesive heart.

This block, a friendship star is special.  This is the maker's favourite block.  It's special to the maker, because this block was made by her friend.  These two friends, make quilts together.  It doesn't go unnoticed that, a "friend" made the "friendship" star.  How fitting is that, and how special to have a part of your friend stitched into your quilt, to keep and cherish for all time.  This friend also knew just what types of fabrics to use, to help the block blend in to the rest of the quilt.

Now, this quilt was made by that friend of the above quilter.  The same friend that made the above friendship star.  This quilt, like all the others I've shown, has it's own flavour.  Another beautiful representation of the style of fabrics this maker has in her stash.  This quilt was hanging in the June/2025 Quilt Canada show.  What an honour!

This block, also a friendship star, was made by the maker's friend.  The same friend who made the quilt above.  And this friend also knew just what fabrics to use to help the block blend in with the rest.  Special ties and memories will not likely be forgotten.

Both makers are very close friends, each with their own personalities and taste.  It takes special friends to respect each others individualities.  I wish this kind of friendship for everyone!
