I don't think I showed anyone this quilt. This is my mom's Christmas Plaid quilt. I quilted this quilt for her back in May/2024. She did a great job of the piecing and colour placement. I forgot to get a close up picture of the quilt, so you'll have to enlarge it on your screen.
The majority of the fabrics are Christmas fabric and maybe about 5% are regular fabrics with the Christmas feel/colour that she was looking for. The colours are Christmas green and red for the plaid design, the intersecting squares are something that reads as a darker white (ie white with red in it), and the background is white on white fabric. It's quite effective. Note lighting was not great, the actual quilt is brighter, as the white is white on white and the colours pop on it.

I took a picture of the backing as well as my mom pieced it. She has a large collection of Christmas fabrics that she is trying to use up and thought that this would be a good way to use more of it. The white running down the centre is to make the quilt wider as her quilt was larger then 80" and the white running horizontally is just because she thought it would look nice. A pieced backing for my mom was to help use up some of her Christmas stash, but it can also save a lot of money. Have you seen how expense wide back fabric is these days!
You can find this pattern in the American Patchwork & Quilting magazine issue 185, AllPeopleQuilt.com, the barcode says display until 12/01/23. The spine reads December 2023. In case you would like to get an issue, with the details above you should have no problems. Image below.
It's a nice simple pattern to make, but still looks great!
Take care everyone.
