Snow Days progress

WOW!!!  At least someone has been making some progress!  I posted about the progress on this piece two days ago, and I cannot believe how much as been done since.  The last post shows about half the house done.  Now she has the whole house done, the pine tree, the trail going up to the barn and she has more than half of the larger pine tree done too.  

I love watching the picture unveil.  When you enlarge the picture, you can make out the front end of the tractor parked in the barn, and the cutest, is the kid on the tube, flaying his arms and legs going down the snow hill, at the top righthand corner.  This was one of my favourite scenes in this quilt.  It is really sweet.  

It also amazes me how tiny my daughter can do her stitches!  You have to enlarge the picture ridiculously large to even see them, but even then, they look like a continuous line.  Beautiful stitches.  Oh, how nice to have young perfect eyesight!  sigh...

As for me, I can now say that I am done my Christmas shopping.  Yeay!!  Later today, after work, I have to run out to get some dog food, before all the stores close for Christmas.  Then I can work some more on my Christmas quilt.  I am making progress on it.  Just have to push a little bit more.  I still have time to meet the deadline....lol.  I won't be defeated and I won't quit until the last hour....lol.  I do not want to wear the label of delusional!
