Flying Geese quilt

There wasn't any sewing for me yesturday, as I've spent the whole day until 9:30 pm quilting three quilts for customers.  So, I asked my daughter to send me a picture of her progress.  She says that it's been pretty busy for her as well, that there has not been much progress on this, but I think she's done well.  I am going to estimate she has half of the house complete now.  These things take time.  Anything made by hand takes time, but well worth it.

I'll also share with you one of the quilts I quilted for a customer.  She chose to quilt it in Ebb and Flow, a pretty design that gives a feel of wind.  I like this detailed pattern with the "geese" and then the flying geese blocks.  They look great together, but I am glad that it wasn't me making them.  Can you imagine how long it would have taken her to do all those flying geese!  She even has three rows of flying geese in the back of her quilt going from edge to edge sideways.  It turned out beautiful.

Very pretty pattern.  Not sure of the name though.  If you know it, put it in the comment section.

Today is all about me!  lol.  I have some straightening up to do, but first I really want to sew!  It's funny how I can't go too long without sewing something on my machine.  Today I can sew and take breaks to get up and stretch my legs, while I pick up stuff, then sew some more.

Wish me luck on my Christmas quilt, because today is really the last day I have to work on it.  I still have to get some Christmas shopping done, so that will happen during the week after work.

Countdown:  Only four more sleeps!!  Yikes!!

Take care everyone.
